Admittedly I also rather enjoy fantasy and sci-fi epics that seem to have numerous volumes in the series. (You know the type, in the fantasy section of Waterstones with pasty teenage boys crowding round them?... yeah, those kind of books.)
Movies: I'll watch a bit of anything, I'm not hugely keen on mindless action and 'blowing shit up' kind of films but I'll give 'em a watch once at least! I love black comedy films along the vein of Death at a Funeral and Four Lions, and adore Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Mr Wright, Mr Pegg and Mr Frost, I think I love you.

New Years was particularly fun, I agree! I'm not entirely sure I enjoyed standing outside waiting for midnight while it snowed thick and fast though. Let me tell you, centurion costumes aren't ideal for sub-zero temperatures... as aren't police women's uniforms, as I'm sure you remember, Legs. ;)

Well you would choose to wear the shortest skirt possible, wouldn't you? Nah, I'm joking, I know it was just what came with the costume. But seriously, we suffered the freezing cold for those costumes, everyone better have appreciated our getting involved by dressing up! I distinctly remember asking myself 'Why the hell did you have to have the Romans as your favourite period of history? Why not pick something with trousers and big woolly jumpers?' Don't know what your excuse was, Livvie. :P
