Wait.
Are you sure your birthday's not the 23rd of May?

Rory King has replied to your comment: Hmmm... I'm pretty 100% certain I was born 23rd April, man. I mean, I could ring my Mum and check if you like? But I appreciate the sentiment all the same, thanks.
By the way, how's life going Doug?

Douglas Pearson wrote on your wall: Mind. Blown. But what if -- and I'm just saying -- what if your mum has been HIDING THE TRUTH FROM YOU YOUR WHOLE LIFE???
I'm good. Great! Great great great great. Definitely did not accidentally shred any important documents while trying to look busy. You?

Rory King has replied to your comment: It's an interesting theory, to be sure, but I kinda sort of... trust my mum with my life so, if she's been lying to me all this time I just... I'm not sure I could handle that kind of revelation to be honest.
Glad to hear it... about you being good I mean, not the hypothetical shreeding of important documents while trying to look busy, that would suck. I'm good, I have good friends and family, a job I love, a fully functioning TV, and a cat who has now finally stopped laying across my face when I sleep so it freaks me out when I wake up in the morning. All in all, I can't complain.

Douglas Pearson wrote on your wall: She lied to you about Santa, Rory. Sorry to break it to you like this!!! Not but seriously. Are you serious? Because my parents and brothers have definitely been lying to me all my life. I was slightly worried about the whole 'hairy palms' thing til I was like twenty. Jez once told me I was adopted, and I'm still on the fence about it.
WAIT what if you were switched with Jez as a baby during a picnic or something. I'd be okay with that. He's a terrible brother.
Sounds pretty solid!

Rory King has replied to your comment: She lied to me about Santa, what do you mean... all she ever told me was Santa brought me presents on Christmas... do you mean to say he doesn't?!?! :(
I'm pretty sure my mum is quite honest with me, Doug, and I trust her completely.
I don't think I was switched with Jez; I have my Dad's nose, there's no denying it. But I'd have no problem with being your brother - as big shockers go it's the least devastating thing imaginable I think.

Douglas Pearson wrote on your wall: As your cruel cousin who doesn't celebrate, I'm surprised I didn't ruin the magic of Christmas for you at least two decades ago. (Did I?) For the record, I know that 'Harold Hanukkah' is a character my parents made up. He is my uncle Harold dressed in a blue and white fat suit. He brings presents and falls asleep drunk on your sofa. And he is all too real.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I'm not adopted. My dad's chin, over here.
You'd have 29 years of hazing to make up for if you joined me and my brothers, so this might be for the best.

Steven Cheng-Mariano sent you a message: Tough break with Olivia, man. That's an awkward situation even for you.
Don't blame Hannah for telling me. I apparently don't know how to make mixed drinks for people with normal alcohol tolerances.

Rory King has replied to Steven Cheng-Mariano's message: Oh, brilliant, I wonder who else Hannah has told about it. :/
If anything... at least I seem to be the King of awkward situations - I have to try to find the positives in this otherwise I'll just sink into the earth out of embarrassment.
Have you seen Olivia lately then? I've been uh... sort of avoiding her and Hannah since 'the incident'. Sometimes, I hate myself just a little bit.

Steven Cheng-Mariano sent you a message: Trust me, no one who was drinking with us has retained any memories of the evening.
Ha ha. "King" of awkward situations. You're lucky I'm high right now, buddy, because you are cracking my shit up.
We may have run into her... or I may have dreamed it. Not entirely sure. Look, I appreciate dwelling in self-hatred as much as anyone, but it sounds like you need to think about something else for awhile. Open invitation for beer and video games at my place. This is as kind and friendly as I'm ever going to get, so.

Rory King has replied to Steven Cheng-Mariano's message: Well that's a sort of relief I guess.
Glad to hear I am "cracking your shit up", I do aim to please on the comedy front, obviously.
Okay, fine, I need to get out, you're right - yes treasure this moment, someone has admitted in no uncertain terms that you are completely right about something. I appreciate it, all the same.
What games are you thinking? / I'll be round after my shift at Mungo's finishes. I'll bring takeaway.

Steven Cheng-Mariano sent you a message: I'm always right. I may not know what it feels like to experience genuine human emotion, but it sounds like a bitch and a half.
Mortal Kombat? I find that inflicting gratuitous virtual violence can make you forget anything.

Rory King has replied to Steven Cheng-Mariano's message: "Genuine human emotion" is definitely overrated, you're not missing out on much really.
Mortal Kombat sounds perfect. Added Tekken?
