Status: "Leo Cunningham remains rather irritated at Becki. That stubborn woman can't seem to just admit that I was right and she was wrong about the cause of death on her last autopsy. I know, telling a woman she was wrong, I went there... and regretted it almost instantly as she's now giving me the cold shoulder. Wonderful."
Sex: male
Birthday: 11th November 1973
Family:
Grace Cunningham-Armitage (mother)
Tristan Armitage (brother)
Helena Armitage[/color] (sister)
Hometown: Canterbury, Kent
Current City: London
Relationship Status: Single
Interested In: Women
Looking For: Friendship, Dating, Networking
Political Views: Anarchist. (I'm joking but all politicians are essentially gits, yes?)
Religious Views: Atheist
Interests: forensics, films, fucki-... no I'm joking, anatomical science, crime scenes, music, motorbikes
Music: The Smiths, Morrissey, The Cure, The Stone Roses, Pulp, The Police, Queen, U2, The Libertines, Babyshambles, Pixies, The Jam, The Clash, Ramones, David Bowie, Madness, The Specials, The Cribs, Buzzcocks, Oasis, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian
Books: Not a huge literature buff, medical texts tend to take up most of my time but I like supernatural/horror books and I'd say my favourites of the so-called 'classics' is Frankenstein. I'm not averse to poetry, my favourite poets are probably Philip Larkin, Seamus Heaney, Dylan Thomas and John Donne.
Movies: Dear lord this would take a while so I'll just sum it up for you- if it's well-made, has a vague storyline and doesn't have a script that makes you want to shoot the writer then I'll give it a watch. Equally, films that are so bad that they're good (see Die Hard) aren't terrible to watch for amusement purposes alone.
Television: CSI (the inaccuracies are frigging hilarious!), NCIS, Waking the Dead, Spooks, Whitechapel, House, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, Chuck, Mad Men, The West Wing, Top Gear, Mock The Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI, Live At The Apollo, Stand Up For The Week, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow
Favourite Quotations: "Jamais la nature ne nous trompe; c’est toujours nous qui nous trompons" - "Nature never deceives us; it is always we who deceive ourselves." (Rousseau)
"Wherever he steps, wherever he touches, whatever he leaves, even without consciousness, will serve as a silent witness against him... Physical evidence cannot be wrong, it cannot perjure itself, it cannot be wholly absent. Only human failure to find it, study and understand it, can diminish its value." (Edmond Locard)
"They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had
And add some extra, just for you."
('This Be The Verse', Philip Larkin - harsh but probably true!)
About Me: My name is Dr. Leo Cunningham and, essentially, I cut up and inspect the innards of dead people for a living - yes I am aware that hearing such a thing is not an aphrodisiac! I have an admittedly morbid interest in forensics, what can I say? If you are of the female gender and that admission hasn't scared you away, well done you have a fine constitution, let's have dinner and drinks!
