Hello ladies, It had been way too long since I have been here (about four years - damn college) and I decided to take a sneak peak here today to see if it was still active and then I got all warm and fuzzy inside seeing that it still was . I am so curious! Who is still around here? Are there any big plot lines that I need to be filled in on? How many years have progressed in the rpg since I have been here. In case anyone doesn't know me/forgot me. It is Bri now 22 and a college grad ( feels weird). I don't know much of what to say other than I think it is time for a creative outlet and chatting it up with you ladies again

Well hello, lil lady!
I (Telle, but of course) am around, at the moment not so much because I just moved into a house and we don't have internet until Wednesday. I'm still shocked that I now live with a man who I'm not related to!
I know that Emma, Lia & Cara are still around & I know that Heather lurks sometimes but she's getting ready for marriage so not so much any more.
I can't answer the other questions as of yet as I'm on my Kindle but I'm sure one of the other lovely ladies will be able to fill you in. Can't believe you're 22, I feel SO OLD!
ETA: Just checked, Ally is also 22 now so that should help with working out that I seem to be incapable of!

Side topic: My facebook creepin'/prowling over the past year has made me realize our life events have been oddly in sync. You started dating Tim within a month or two of when I started dating Cha, and we just moved in together about two weeks ago. Small world-esque?

BRI!! Welcome back! Congrats on being a Uni/college grad! I'm (Cara) still here, well, getting reacquainted/reviving some of my characters so I don't know about any big plots. Sorry not helpful is/not helpful. I'm sure Emma & Lia can fill you in though, and Telle when she gets internet. And psshh Telle, you're still young and beautiful! Also congrats again on moving in with your man. Ooo and congrats as well Bri for moving in with Cha! TBH I don't know how old half my characters are, I just try to gage their ages by looking at others characters that are similar in age. lol. Then make up reasons why they have been MIA for a year or so. Hope you're doing well Bri! xoxo

OMFG HI BRI! Wowwwww I'm all here, in a good way, never not a good way. Also huge congrats on the real-life wonderfulness, that's so cool! I'm still here, still writing as a means to procrastinate studying. Not much changed there though I'm now about to go to my final year of university so... that's fun. And scary, mostly scary because I feel old now. Uh... plot points... yeah... stuff happened. Idek, man. *this wholly unhelpful but enthusiastic post has been brought to you by emma, i apologise.*

It's so excellent to chat with you guys again Cara, have you come up with any good excuses for their absences or just try to breeze over it? I am trying to think of some epic muggle excursion as an excuse for James. And Emma, I know what you mean about feeling old in your last year, though for me it didn't hit until right after I graduated and then it hit me like a ton of bricks, lol. Congrats on your last year of Uni, what are you going for? I had initially went in for graphic design and ended up with a communications degree, which due to my work history in technical support turned into a technical training/documentation position.

I am so scared about graduating that I can't even think about it rn, like if I think too much about after university I just blank and stare into the pit of pending unemployment. And it kinda sucks to know I'll most likely be moving back home, not that I don't love my parents but like... living with people your own age is just... nice.
I'm doing a BA in English Literature, my uni was weird because it actually did a three subject first year that I don't think most UK unis do. So I minored in Spanish and Politics first year (both of which I still love but not enough to joint major haha) but yeah literature's always been my thing so... feel free to fling all the "What Do You Do with a B.A. in English?" jokes my way because I love 'em in a HAHA THAT'S SO TRUE OMG I'M GOING TO CRY WHAT AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE? way... :S
But that's so cool tho, Bri, congratulations on graduating and being a grown-up - yay lol.

HI BRI!! (psst, this is Lia) Big congrats on graduating and getting a job! Sooo I'm 24 now, getting my Master's degree in Atmospheric Science in a few months (if all goes according to plan!), and my personal/love life is still a series of escalating bad decisions, haha. Do you still do art/design stuff in your free time? I'm really hoping to get back into that stuff once my thesis defense is out of the way!
I'm glad you're doing well and it's awesome to talk to you again! <3

Haha, I wouldn't dare flinging an English major joke at you because at my college, the same jokes were made about communications majors. Basically, most of the people at my college on an athletic scholarship were communications majors because it was an easy major. I had an old coworker who told me my major would only amount to a barista job at Starbucks (though more jokingly than mean-spirited). I hope things work out for you, not sure how the job economy is over there compared to over here but a lot of people I know, it took at least 6 months to get a job somewhat in their field. Hopefully it will work out sooner for you. And I know what you mean about living with your parents again, it's hard to even think about after living on your own for so long. edit: LIA! Good for you for pursuing a master's degree, a lot of my friends are going off to grad school this next year, but after a hectic undergrad I don't think I could stomach another 2 years of education. I definitely haven't done as much art/design as I have wanted since while I was in undergrad I worked close to full-time. Though I did every so often have a 'could you design this website for xxx'. So mostly just webdesign. However, I did just get Photoshop back installed on the computer today so I am definitely hoping to change that. Though I have noticed in my time away from the arts world I have absolutely no patience/technique when it comes to painting - honestly foreign concept to me now, don't understand how I ever enjoyed it. That will be great once you can get back into the design/arty world again, I always admired your graphics

Yeah, grad school is crazy! I originally wanted to go for a PhD, but now I'm like "hahahaha NO".
I still draw and paint on occasion, but man, Photoshop is totally foreign to me now. And I loved your graphics too, so uh... let's hope we both manage to figure this stuff out again lol.

All I can say is WOW to the both of you. Sorry Bri I don't remember any good texture sites or anything. I really need to find some though. DeviantART I guess, but I don't even know where to look, lol. I loved both your graphics, Bri and Lia, so amazing!

Aaah I know what you mean Bri - I will defend my degree until the ends of the earth but yeah I know that in the grand scheme of things people see it as an 'easier' option. Ideally I want to work in publishing but... idk we'll see how that goes, I envisage many unpaid internships in the future before I get anywhere at all near where I want to be. Yaaay uncertainty! :/
My department send me a letter like "hey you've got good enough grades for further study, fancy doing a Masters at Lancaster?" and I'm like "Hahahahahaha stop giving me more appealing opportunities to trying to find a job."

Pull a Lia and try to stay in school forever!!! Lol in the sciences you generally get paid on research/teaching assistantships while getting your degree (in the US at least?), which is a pretty sweet deal. Tbh I stumbled ass-backwards into grad school to avoid getting a "real job", and it actually kind of sucked a lot of the time, but I learned a TON and met some amazing people in my program. It also served as a nice cushion after college to go figure my shit out.
I... actually can't tell whether I'm recommending a Master's degree or not, haha. Follow your bliss~
