Stella Matthews walked into the Ministry of Magic and sighed. Many of the people here, rushing around tirelessly like little ants came to see her in Hogsmeade. The only reason she ever stepped foot inside these walls was because of her father. She loved her father, even if he did like to throw her a few gilt trips in an effort to make her take yet another thing to the current Minister of Magic in hopes that he will once again offer her a job and she will finally come to her senses and take it so that she will be doing something respectable. “Cosmetology is a perfectly respectable profession Dad,” she would tell her father, and yet both her mother and father would never listen. It was mostly her mother really, encouraging her father to nag her about getting ‘a real job.’ She had a real job!
Stella walked into one of the many lifts and was squished into the back as others piled in after her. One by one they filed out until she was stuck in the lift with only a few other people, and yes she was stuck. The lift halted short and seemed to stop moving entirely. “Great!” Stella sighed exasperatedly; she would have flailed her arms as well but didn’t have enough room.
((ooc: Anyone? More than one person can be stuck with her?))

Leaning his back against the cool wall of the lift, Jonathan closed his eyes and allowed himself to relax slightly when suddenly there was a jerky movement, forcing his eyes open he exhaled loudly and looked towards his companion in the lift.
"That word, I dont think it means what you think it means" he deadpanned, quoting a muggle film before smiling briefly, "You in a hurry? Late for work?" he offered before checking his watch, he had to meet his brother and knew that Ash hated lateness but Jon didnt really care, he hated coming to the Ministry and he felt like Ash deserved to wait for making him have to step foot inside the horrible place.
"Fizzing whizzbee?" he offered the girl, taking one for himself and popping it into his mouth.
(ooc. *blows dust off of Jon* Hope he's ok! I just realised they're the same age, they would've been at school together!)

Stella’s lips pursed slightly into a small smile at the man’s comment, “Inconceivable,” she remarked sarcastically. It was one of the many muggle films she could think of that went along with that very quote. ‘The Princess Bride’ was one of her favourites, aside from the fact that she thought Buttercup was a bit of a bore. Wesley really deserved better than a girl who couldn’t defend herself. At his question Stella opened the antique gold watch on a long thin chain hanging around her neck, “Well, yes, actually if this lift doesn’t move at some point.” Stella didn’t exactly look like one of the masses working in a Ministry office wearing a suit, instead she was wearing a cute summery dress. That was the great thing about her job she could wear whatever she pleased. “Oh well, I don’t really have any set appointments until later this afternoon.” “Sugary sweets at this hour?” she asked teasingly. Then with a shrug she added, “Alright, why not,” holding out her hand and took the one he had offered and popped it into her mouth. “So, what do you do then?” she asked as the sherbet taste filled her mouth, and after letting the sweet melt in her mouth for a bit it caused her to float a few inches off the ground. ((ooc: Jon is perfect. You are right they would’ve been at school together. Should they know of each other but never really moved in the same circles? She was a very spirited Gryffindor in school so, you know.))

Smirking slightly as the girl replied with a quote from the film, Jonathan rubbed his chin and checked his watch before looking back to the girl, "You dont work here, do you? You dont look like you do. You look....relaxed" he smirked again before shrugging his shoulders, popping a sweet into his mouth. "It's happy hour somewhere" he laughed.
"Me? I work with Dragons. Im back here to help with the Gringotts dragon. You?" he asked her, looking at her with a confused look.He was sure he knew her but he couldnt place where from.
(ooc. Sorry I took forever)

Stella smiled over at him, “No. How did you guess?” she asked teasingly, and nodded at his response. “True,” she laughed popping the sweet into her mouth.
“Dragons, that sounds rather fascinating. Do you train the Gringotts dragon? Or is it ill?” she asked unsure of the state of the dragon. “I am a beautician, I work in Hogsmeade,” she said, “My name is Stella by the way,” she added remembering she hadn’t actually said her name and didn’t know his either. The lift seemed to jerk a bit causing her to fall forward. Stella grabbed for what she could, bracing herself with one hand on the wall of the lift and the other on the man’s chest, “Sorry,” she apologised with a laugh as she steadied herself and the lift once more came to a standstill. They were obviously having more trouble getting it fixed than she thought. “Good thing neither one of us are claustrophobic,” she mentioned.
((ooc: It’s fine. I really love Jonathan, he’s great!))

"He's a bit poorly, and he's in a desperate need of a descaling so I've got some work for a while" he smiled, the Dragon at Gringotts had been treated poorly by the goblins & it was taking Jon a long time to get him back to normal.
Smiling as she told him what she done for work, Jon nodded his head, it made sense. "Stella, hi..." he began but then she was suddenly thrown forward into him, his hand instinctively moving to her waist as he tried to steady her. "No, dont apologise, I rather enjoy women throwing themselves at me." he chuckled, moving his hand off of her with a nod, "Im Jonathan & not claustrophobic" he smirked.
