Character with your name?

Hey girls, so I was watching Legend of the Seeker randomly out of boredom and to see more of what Cara, my apparent baddy alter ego, was like and thought hey this might be fun.

So post pictures or whatever of characters in television shows, films, or books that have your name (or variations on your name, for instance mine would be Kara)?

Well Emma is quite a common name but curiously I've noticed a tendency towards the bitchy with those called 'Emma' haha. Of course we have Jane Austen's Emma and her many TV/film incarnations e.g. Kate Beckinsale, Gwyneth Paltrow, Romola Garai (<3) etc. Other literary ones include Emma/Madame Bovary.

And there's also a tv show I love called 'The Thick Of It' and there's a special/policy advisor to the Shadow Secretary for Social Affairs and Citizenship (what a mouthful) called Emma - one her best scenes is this one but yes, she's a bit of a bitch too. Film/comic book wise there's Emma Frost. January Jones played her in the recent X-Men: First Class film if anyone else has seen it/loves it like I do!

My name isnt the best for cool characters and after a quick google search i have discovered that I share my name 'Chantelle' with someone from the tv show 'Benidorm'. She's a single mum with a baby called Coolio...that says it all really!

There was also apparently a 'Chantelle' in Neighbours, she was Stonie's wife but I dont remember her at all so she couldnt have been that epic.

Boo to having a name thats not used much for characters!

Also Emma, I hope in real life you are NOTHING like Emma Frost as I despise her! Though I think its just because JJ plays her, I really dont like JJ!

Aww Telle, Chantelle is such a pretty name, I think more people sould make awesome charries with the name Chantelle!

If it makes you feel anybetter I hadn't heard anyone using the name Cara until I saw Merlin. I think, if I remember correctly that Nimueh said her name was Cara, of course she was evil. I've noticed my name is used for evil characters generally. Such as Cara from Legend of the Seeker, she is kind of a baddie.

Until I saw Battlestar Galactical .
She is by far the best Kara (even though she uses a K instead of a C) ever!

I dont like my name at all, I think it's because I was only ever called my full name when I was in trouble lol.

I've never seen Being Human so when I saw that picture all I could say was "Stacey Slater!" because thats who she played in Eastenders, lol!
