(ooc: This isn’t great but I needed to write Grace a little angst-y, she is the queen of cool and self-control you know, I'm up for whoever. Oh, and, she isn't on drugs... yet... she is just stressed about her parents not loving her right now.)
Grace looked skinny and anxious like a druggie on crack as she meandered down the winding pathways of Knockturn Alley. Clearly the parental units were getting to her. Meandering could have been a better term than what she was doing really, dodging people left and right as she slid past unsavory looking characters with dirty looking faces, mouths filled with gold or teeth that weren’t quite all there, and witches with actual warts on their noses.
She pulled at her loose grey top shifting it into place. It was layered over a chemise black tee all of which hung over her black jeans tucked into one of her many pairs of warn studded black combat boots. She opened the door of a rather seedy looking shop. The man behind the counter looked up and smiled at her.
“Heya Gracie, haven’t seen you around for a while,” Jesse greeted her.
She nodded vaguely with a casual, “Yea,” and stuffed her hands into her pockets before glancing around at some of the stuff. She thought of Kevin as she looked at some of the items he was attempting to sell, most of it was gross, evil, or ugly. She figured Kevin would like the rebellious edge the shop, including its punk laden owner seemed to have. Some of the jewelry was still pretty cool though.
“So,” he began casually again, “Are you looking for, you know,” he shrugged and gave her a little wink.
“I’m thinking about it,” she said toying with a blue stoned necklace with a few feathers hanging from it. Then she turned her sights on a dragon necklace and wondered if Sam would like it. Continuing to browse she found a necklace with a dragon’s tooth hanging from a leather cord and as she held it between her fingers wondered the same thing before approaching the front counter and pulling up one of the stools. “You see there is this party,” she started to explain but he just nodded and said, “Ahh I think I know what you want.”
