Kevin Walsh commented on your photos: Jesus. Last time anyone saw your modeling shots they were at the bottom of Owen's sock drawer.

Helena Armitage replied to your comment: I do not quite know what to do with that information/joke, Kevin, but thank you for sharing it all the same. One could ask what you were doing at the bottom of Owen's sock drawer I suppose.

Kevin Walsh replied to your comment: Maybe I used to nick his meds for recreational purposes. Maybe I thought he was hiding chunks of dead bodies. Maybe he occasionally had wank material that wasn't a stuck up cousin.
Or maybe I was making a joke based on an extensive history of evidence.

Helena Armitage replied to your comment: Your dry wit really is quite amusing Kevin, I shall give you that. The thing about lies utilised for the purpose of a joke is that, very often, they are based on the truth... and somehow I feel your first statement is probably the truthful part of the whole thing.

Kevin Walsh replied to your comment: The meds weren't great. Hit him up sometime if you want to feel mildly drowsy, I guess.
Or just have a conversation with him, it'll set in quicker.

Helena Armitage replied to your comment: What exactly were you expecting/hoping for- a high?
Sorry to disappoint but I must disagree; I happen to have interesting conversations with your brother. You really do give him quite a hard time, Kevin.

Owen Walsh sent you a message: I apologise if my brother is bothering you, Helena. You know he's making things up. I just- I would never.
I think he was dropped on his head as a child. Maybe inhaled too many cleaning supplies.

Helena Armitage replied to your message: Oh hush dear! Please don't worry or apologise for Kevin's actions, I am well aware of his particular brand of humour - if it isn't crude in sentiment, I'd imagine he doesn't quite consider it worth saying. Hmm at least he amuses himself, I suppose.
We may never discover the reason for Kevin's... Kevin-ness. So long as you remain the sane Walsh to converse with, I am sure I can manage Kevin's little jokes now and again.

Owen Walsh replied to your message: Oh. I didn't mean to imply you couldn't manage him. Apologising for my family is my default state, I suppose.
Would you like to do lunch sometime? I promise to maintain impeccable sanity.

Isaac Lehrer has written on your Wall: I think that particular modelling shoot worked out rather well, if I do say so myself as the photographer! Out of all the shots I took I do think the one you currently have as your profile picture is my favourite. Simply put, you look as beautiful as ever, Hel.
While I remember, a quick heads up too that the designer mentioned to me that he'd be in touch - he has a thought on a dress for you for the upcoming gala so expect multiple messages/phone calls. He is nothing if not persistent.

Amanda Paisley has posted on your wall: Helena I love your profile picture it is simply beautiful. Thank you for allowing me to attend your garden party the other week it was simply marvelous. My 'How to entertain' and pull off a super successful garden party without it feeling stale article this week was excellent and well received by my boss because of you, I would love to get a few more photos of you if you wouldn't mind before it goes to print?
Isaac we need to do another picnic, and you need to take more photos! I love your pictures! When is your next exhibit? I want to come.

Isaac Lehrer replied to Amanda's comment: Do you need the Prophet's photographer to take some shots of Helena? If not, I have a few non-posed shots of her at the party that might work with the article, I can pop into the Prophet with them this afternoon if you're interested.
Don't worry, Amy, I'm always taking photos. I'm not entirely sure on the date but sometime late July-early August. Actually, I could use your opinion if you have some free time - there are a couple of photos I'm uncertain about whether to include and a second eye/opinion is always helpful.

Helena Armitage replied to your message: Of course not, but really, Kevin is perfectly manageable, I assure you. Well, that I can understand a little of though of course you ought not to feel like you must apologise for your family.
Impeccable sanity you say? Well now, that is a very tempting offer, how is your schedule fixed this week?
Helena Armitage replied to Isaac's comment: Well you 'may say so yourself' because you really ought to take more credit/pride in your work, Isaac, the shots were wonderful. You are far too kind about me, it's nice to know a photographer thinks such a thing - or else I would be out of work, no?
Thank you for the heads up, he's left 5 messages, he indeed is persistent!
Helena Armitage replied to Amanda's comment: Why thank you, dear, you are too kind much like your friend here. Of course, it was my pleasure, consider yourself invited if you find yourself free to make it to any future parties. No problem, I'm sure Isaac was attentively on-hand throughout the whole thing and he's bound to have numerous shots that could work with your piece but, if not, get in touch and I'll be happy to arrange something.

Owen Walsh replied to your message: I know. I wish I could just apologise for everyone and smooth things over myself. I suppose it's a pipe dream.
Your pictures have been everywhere lately, haven't they? That's wonderful, Helena. I'm glad you've been able to keep so busy and productive, though I shouldn't have expected anything less. I look forward to the Gala.
I'll be working on an independently funded project this summer, so I technically determine my own hours -- though I do keep to a regular schedule, for my own sake. Is Friday at noon amenable to your schedule?
