Owen stood just outside of St. Mungo's, lighting a cigarette as he watched a team of Mediwitches and Mediwizards pull a group of injured Quidditch players into the hospital. It was the end of his work day, but he had no real intention of going home, and would most likely slip back into the lab at any minute. He shuffled out of the way to let some Healers pass before finding a spot to rest against the wall, however, rather than adopting a 'casually leaning while smoking' look, Owen merely appeared as vaguely awkward and uncomfortable as he always did.

((ooc: Thought Owen’s girlfriend should come round, hope you don’t mind.))
Valerie exited St Mungo’s and dodged out of the way as a team of Mediwitches and Mediwizards rushed a group of injured Quidditch players into the hospital. She was pleasantly perky despite her left forearm being wrapped having been bitten by yet another annoying beastly thing. She liked animals, and beasts, but not getting bitten by them. She grimaced however and looked pitifully down at the players as they were whisked by her.
Starting forward once more she spotted Owen leaning against the wall. Jogging over to him she stopped abruptly beside him in a bouncy and chipper way, “Hello boyfriend,” she smiled kissing him on the cheek. “You have the thinking face on,” she said surveying him her bluey-hazel eyes narrowed, but she giggled, her laugh sounded like a sweet bird’s song.

"Hey," Owen said, smiling slightly. He wasn't the warmest or most outwardly effusive of people – it just wasn't something that came naturally to him, no matter how much he liked Val. He rubbed the side of his face and shook his head. "Ha. Sorry. I think that's just my face."
He slid down to sit on the lowest stair leading up to the hospital entrance, looking up with his eyebrows furrowed before asking, "What happened to your arm?"

“Well it’s a good thing that I like your face then,” Val smiled at him. She really did have a thing for geeks. Valerie sat beside him and gazed about for a moment, there was a particularly vocal bird singing in one of the trees. She smiled at its song.
“What?” she asked gently, turning her gaze to her arm. “Oh, that. It’s nothing. Just another beastly thing trying to rip my arm off, but I told him he couldn’t have it,” she gave him a faux-serious look and then giggled smiling sweetly up at him. “So, what happened at work today? Anything exciting?” she asked. She really wanted to ask Owen if he wanted to go out tonight but hoped he might say it first. He probably wouldn’t, but she was hopeful.
((ooc: Sorry this took forever, but I posted, hehe.))
