Oh ho, I heartily approve of your enjoyment of Chaucer! Ol' Geoffrey did rather fab things for literature as we know it and I think everyone should read 'Canterbury Tales'.
Currently reading 'Much Ado About Nothing', bit of Bill and my favourite of Shakespeare's comedies. :)

Ringworld - Larry Niven. Kids, behold the freedom of reading as an adult: all 1970's hard sci-fi, all the time.
Because he's a Geoffrey, clearly.

Supposed to be Canterbury Tales but instead I opted for The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brook which I think will be much more useful to me

Then you have to read World War Z.
That's a homework assignment for everyone from me, by the way. Because Arithmancy is always relevant to fighting zombies.

Good Omens - Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett
Could we put on a production of Shakespeare for class, Professor? I think it would be great fun. I can make costumes!
