Will did not mind holding detention; he liked it in fact, even on his birthday. Most teachers despised such an unruly bunch and so gladly handed off their heathens over to him to look after. William liked the idea that he might turn an unsuspecting student on to the idea that learning could be fascinating, fun and even enjoyable.
There were a rather surprising number of students in his detention today. He was mildly concerned that his little class seemed to be growing. He looked toward the door as another straggler came in.
((ooc: Anyone, I thought I’d test out the new av to see whether or not I should change him back, lol. Also there could be many people who come into his classroom, students, teachers...))

Geoff knocked once on the door of the detention room, wandering in after a pair of giggling second years. "Will! Holding detention on your birthday? Rough," he said while wheeling a swivel chair up to the front of the room. He looked down at a student and added, "Hey, you! Don't do... that," waving his hand vaguely as the first year inexplicably crawled under a desk and covered himself with dust.
He was equal parts bored and too lazy to actually do anything with his day. Geoff had no idea how other people managed to live rich, interesting, productive lives -- he did basically nothing strenuous whatsoever, and it still managed to tire him out. Flopping down on the chair finally, he tilted his head back to address his fellow professor. "Hey mate, when are you getting married again? Are you doing a stag night? Ever been to Vegas?" He wasn't exactly sure how a group of teachers were supposed to abandon their duties to have a drunken night in Las Vegas, but these were minor details in the scheme of things.
