Justin sat at a table in the hospital cafeteria, just released from having a broken arm reset and still waiting around for a friend from training who'd sustained a far nastier injury that day and was still being healed. He paid for his food and sat at a table in the back of the cafeteria, politely trying not to stare at any of the patients with various bizarre injuries floating around the hospital.
He propped a copy of The Daily Prophet in front of him -- he was one of those people who read the news cover-to-cover every day, more out of compulsion than any particular need to know about the latest scandal in the cauldron manufacturing industry -- and as the room began to fill, he heard someone walk up to his table and waved his hand to let them know they were free to sit, barely looking up as he flipped the pages of his paper.
(ooc: Anyone would be awesome! I'm trying to get back into the swing of posting and whatnot)

Holding a coffee in one hand and a bowl of banana custard in the other, Rose made her way through the busy cafeteria before noticing a free seat, next to a young guy she was sure she recognised. About to ask if it was ok to sit, the boy waved his hand so she sat down, smiling at the top of his head before taking a drink of her coffee.
"Apologies if I sound rude or what not, are you mute or deaf?" she asked in a serious tonebefore continuing, "Its just I dont want to make you feel bad for me wittering on & you not being able to hear a thing or be able to respond" she gave her cheery smile before taking a spoonful of her dessert.
"Nothing quite like banana custard after a long day of collecting bubotuber pus, mmm" she gave a thumbs up before looking at the boy curiously, "Why do I know your face? Have we..." she motioned between them, her eyebrows wiggling furiously as she tried to silently convey what she meant.
(ooc. Hope Rose is ok, poor Justin always being harrassed by Turners, lol)

Justin looked up and shook his head at the girl, a Healer by the looks of her outfit. "Ha. No, sorry, full use of all my senses here. I didn't mean to be impolite or anything, I've just been reading the debate over cauldron safety guidelines. Gripping," he said sarcastically while holding up the newspaper article in question.
A bemused look suddenly flashed across his face. "Uh, no, I don't think so," Justin started to laugh awkwardly as he read her name badge, suddenly realising who she was and how they knew each other. "I reckon I can solve this mystery... you're Lillian's sister, right? She and I are friends. Justin Biermann," he explained, not sure how much Rose knew about their history and not particularly eager to find out.

Rose smiled as the lad spoke, "You gave me a seat, not rude at all! I usually have to eat as I go so sitting is a complete novelty to me" she laughed as she nodded her head, usually she was always on the go, always doing something or other and sacrificing her breaks to get her job done.
"Cauldron safety? Oh enthralling stuff there, bet that has you all fired up and ready to go huh?" she joked, talking easily to the young boy who's face she definitely knew but judging by his expression, no, they'd never 'done it'. She sighed inwardly, he looked far too young for her anyway.
Nodding as he mentioned Lillian, it all clicked into place and Rose couldnt hide the excited look on her face, she'd seen this boy's picture ALL over her sisters pinboard but of course she wouldnt tell HIM that. "Biermann? Bier...OH!! Lagerdude?!" she pointed at him before giving a thumbs up, Lillian had of course told Rose everything she knew about this boy, including how she'd practically made a pass at him though he was batting for the other side. "Wow...you seem SO different to Lil! Really...really different" she nodded her head, sitting back in her seat to look at him properly, "Finally...after all I've heard about you...I get to meet the man, the myth...the legend" Rose nodded her head and gave a soft laugh, "Its a pleasure to meet you, Lil was right...you are a looker" she winked at him, not meaning to embarrass him, merely compliment him.

(ooc: This is ridiculously late too, sorry!)
"Hey, I got the whole afternoon off due to snapping my humerus in two... it's worth looking into," Justin joked as he swung his newly-healed arm around lightly. He'd been in slightly better spirits overall since graduating from school, just that smallest bit more relaxed and easygoing without the constant pressure to hide his personal life, excel at everything and keep an eye on everyone. "You enjoy it here though, I'm guessing? I almost applied for Healer training... ended up going the Auror route instead, but still. All of this, it's incredibly interesting," Justin said while waving his fork around.
He laughed in spite of himself when Rose expressed how non-Lil-like he was. "Yeah, well. I haven't been overcome with the urge to dye my hair orange yet. But, we'll see. And, uh... thanks," Justin said, forcing a slightly uncomfortable smile at her as he poked at a carrot. He couldn't help but feel disappointingly boring, in the face of all of the things she'd apparently heard about him. "So... she's doing well?" he asked; he'd been too busy to properly speak with Lillian over the past few weeks and wanted to make sure she didn't think he was being a prick, or something.

"Surely there are better ways of getting off work than snapping your bones?! Dont tell me you're like Lil?" she frowned at him slightly, by that he meant an adrenalin seeker who'd so...well...stupid things because they could. Taking a long drink of her coffee, Rose nodded her head enthusiastically, "I love it here! I've only ever missed one day of work, one!" she held up her finger before smiling, Rose could make it into work after a 24 hour bender the night before and do her job prefectly, the only time she'd missed work was due to Lillian being rushed to muggle hospital after a stunt gone badly wrong.
"I really admire you guys who do the auror thing, I couldnt do it, dont have the balls for it. Give me something broken and I'll fix it but dont ask me to risk my life to save you, never gonna happen. Unless you're my baby sister, I'd do anything to save that little freak" she gave a laugh, spooning some dessert into her mouth as she studied Justin's face, he didnt seem very comfortable around her but she figured he was just shy and she was a louder version of what he was used to.
Nodding as he asked after Lil, she waved her spoon non commitally, "Im surprised you havent seen her around, she's been here every day with something or other going wrong. Today was...what was it again?" she paused, holding her spoon against her lip as she thought about it, trying to remember which injury belonged on which day, "Thats right, she had to have her eyes seen to because she sprayed some kind of potion in them to...and I quote...'to see what'd happen to my eyeballs" Rose rolled her (unpotioned) eyes, her sister got up to some of the stupidest things imaginable. "Im surprised you've not seen her, doesnt she stalk you?" Rose smirked, she knew her little sister could be quite intense.
(ooc. I'll let you off, just this once!)
