((ooc: Hope what I wrote about Will, labour etc. is alright for you Cara, hehe and ignore the title, I just love that Snow Patrol song.))
Isabella had practically spent every single moment since being presented with the cleaned, wrapped baby she had given birth to (admittedly after much screaming and shouting and panic) studying the girl’s face, her attention unable to be wavered from it. She’d been vaguely aware of her brother and sister-in-law appearing at some point to congratulate her and she remembered telling them thanks for being there for her, and hugging them, but now she really only had eyes for her and Will’s baby. Finally looking up from her baby girl’s face she met said man’s gaze and smiled weakly up at him, “I’m sorry, so sorry for shouting at you and… and blaming you… and shrieking at you… and slap… and slapping you,” she apologised quietly, “I didn’t mean to, I think the caffeine deprivation has just built up in my system, waiting until that one moment when she said ‘it’s time for one last push’ to unleash itself on you completely,” Isabella remarked lightly, but her face was solemn, her smile tender, as she looked away from him and back to their daughter.
“And I for one cannot believe that such a tiny thing can cause that amount of shrieking,” she commented, good naturedly mocking herself, but the laugh that started in her throat soon turned into a choked sob. Hey she was hormonal, or that was her excuse for the waterworks anyway! Sniffing, tears still rolling down her cheeks, she shook her head at herself, “And look at me now, being silly and crying in front of little Baby Girl Pattinson,” she said, looking over at Will warmly through the tears.
