Norah stood at her desk with her hands on her hips, looking over the large piles of books, papers, and half-eaten packages of snacks (she got hungry working the telescopes at night, okay?) that had amassed in her office. She was soon leaving to visit her family for Christmas, and the thought of enduring about fifty variations on the when are you going to get married and start popping out kids? question from relatives she didn't even know she had was making her slightly nauseated. Norah would definitely need some reading material for distraction -- but did she want Einstein's Meaning of Relativity or Chandrasekahar's Newton's Principia for the Common Reader?
Lifting the tall stack of papers she had received from her students in her last class, Norah packed them in a pocket along the side of her trunk and stood up when she heard a knock at her door. "Come in," she shouted, dusting a thin layer of biscuit crumbs from the top of her desk.
(ooc: anyone!)

Opening the door to Professor Green's office, Joe gave her a smile and waved his hand in greeting as he ambled in to the room, "Good evening Norah, getting packed up to go home I see? I could come back later if that'd be better?" he paused, not wanting to interrupt whatever she may have been doing.
"I just wanted to pop in and give you this, just a little something for Christmas from Daisy & I...nothing special, just a little minding on Christmas Day" he held up a rather badly wrapped gift, it had more tape on it than really necessary but then he'd never been that great at wrapping and Daisy had foolishly left him to wrap everyone's gifts.
(ooc. Hope Joe's ok!)
