David stuck the last poster to his classroom wall before stepping back to observe his handiwork which consisted of one huge stack of muggle film, book and music posters, a whole lot of Blu-tack and much fun to be had organising things so they were just so. He wasn't afraid of bombarding his students with a lot of things to look at, so the vibrant posters would at least give them something to look at when they weren't actually paying much attention to his lesson. He was a considerate teacher like that! Humming quite contentedly to himself he walked back to his desk, hurriedly shuffling his papers and lesson plans into a stack as he tried to make it look less like a tornado had blown into his desk and assaulted everything, which was harder than it sounded when he was buzzing a little with nervous excitement (or was in excessive energy drink consumption?) due to his first class arriving in... oh five minutes!
A quick look to his watch confirmed this and he grinned enthusiastically to himself, completely confident that surely, surely he would be a perfectly adequate alternative to the previous Muggle Studies teacher who'd retired early due to illness. He was shooting for 'fun' aswell but wasn't holding out much hope, he'd probably come across more 'geeky' than 'fun'- but who ever said geeks couldn't be fun?! Pondering this, along with countless other pointless thoughts about all things muggle and geeky, he sat down in the chair behind his desk- if he didn't force himself to sit still he'd only bound around the classroom excitedly and he'd really like to reign in the overwhelming energy release until his students at least got a bit used to it. But it was only a few seconds of sitting, his feet up and resting on his desk as he leaned back in his chair, before the door opened and he looked up excitedly at the person entering. "Morning!" he called out enthusiastically.
((ooc: Woo first post with him, officially anyway. Anyone, anyone at all, can be fellow teacher come to welcome him or student turning up for his lesson?))
