Ooo I love this kind of thing. Right, well, most Jack McManus lyrics to me are Callum/Amelia or at least songs I could see Callum having written himself, especially Bang on the Piano. Oo and Rooftops and Invitations makes me think of Callum and Amelia when they were younger and met in Paris. Snow Patrol's song Chocolate is one which, in certain lines fits Lewis and Fiona, Callum and Amelia, Harry and Rebecca... haha I probably just love that song tbh. Fall For You is a Harry and Rebecca song too, especially "I may have failed but I have loved you from the start", hence why it's in his sig. Aaaand it's early (it seems to be for me anyway- it's 10 to 11!) and I can't think of any more right now but you can bet I'll come back with a momentary spasm of inspiration and edit this later.

I have linked each song to a vid on youtube of it, how is that for handy?! I've also included a line of the song...my word my helpfulness knows NO bounds! I will add more to this post...of that you can be sure! Daddy B to Mama BNothing To Do With You - Pigeon Detectives"I think im letting you go but theres one thing you should know, its got nothing to do with you"(The whole song fits...but I didnt want to overwhelm you with lyrics!) Daddy B to Mama BMake This Go On Forever - Snow Patrol"I can't be as sorry as you think I should. But I still love you more than anyone else could"(Again...the whole song fits but that line especially...the first time I heard it I was all OMG...the Bennett parentals!!) Jason to AllyCaught In Your Trap - Pigeon Detectives"And I just can't get you off my head, And I didn't want you there in the first place"(It was only ever meant to be a bit of fun...then they fell in love) Ryan to AllyStolen - Dashboard Confessional"I watch you spin around in your highest heels, you are the best one, of the best ones"(Aaaaw! How adorable!) Ally to Daddy BFamily Portrait - Pink"Daddy don't leave, Daddy don't leave, Daddy don't leave, Don't leave us here alone " & "I'll be so much better, I'll do everything right. I'll be your little girl forever"(Again...basically the whole song) Mark to Daddy BEmotionless - Good Charlotte"Are you happy out there in this great wide world? Do you think about your sons? Do you miss your little girl?" & "it's been a long hard road without you by my side, why weren't you there all the nights that we cried? You broke my mother's heart, you broke your children for life"(This whole song completely works...honestly. I can imagine Mark singing it whilst he plays his guitar...all very angry and angsty at his father) Ryan/Jason (or any guy really!) to AllyDaddy's Little Girl - Quietdrive"Daddy's little girl, she's so nasty in the sack"(Haha, so true! I LOVE this song...when I first heard it, it made me think of Ally!)

Toxic Valentine by All Time Low reminds me Adriana Truscott as does All hail the heartbreaker. As well as Teenagers by Hailey Williams. Catch me reminds me of Adriana for some reason (I still have no idea why), but it also makes me think of Stephan and Claire’s relationship from Stephan’s perspective… except that it’s a girl’s voice, haha! There are a million different songs that remind me of Stephan, or Stephan & Claire, but here are a few to start: I too chose Stolen for Stephan, since that’s how he feels about Claire. This is the Life by Amy Macdonald. This song is basically how Stephan feels when he’s with Claire -happy- as if life couldn’t get better than this. Did You by Kelly Clarkson. I just heard this the other day and I thought of what is going to happen to Claire and Stephan, this is probably more from Claire’s point of view, but Emma would have to confirm that, hehe. I know what I am by Band of Skulls reminds me of Stephan because he ironically doubts who he is, but acts confident as if he knows exactly what he is. Use Somebody by Kings of Leon describes how Stephan feels about Claire perfectly I think, even when he doesn’t want to admit it. I will add more to this post soon, hehe.

Ryan to AllyBad Girlfriend - Theory of a Deadman"My Girlfriend's a dick magnet, my Girlfriend's gotta have it. She's hot, can't stop, up on stage, doing shots"(The name of this song...its not an insult...not at all! The whole song is Ally.) Ally to any guy reallyYou Know Im No Good - Amy Wino"I told you I was trouble, you know Im no good"(This was more when she was single Ally, breaking hearts and sleeping around) Ally to RyanHimerus & Eros - The Spill Canvas"Yes, it's true, you've brainwashed me and now I'm more confused. I still somehow hope I end up with you. Yes, it's true, I romanticize every single thing I do, especially when it comes to you"(No matter what Ryan does to her, she still wants to be with him and only him...she's infatuated with the poor boy! This could also apply for Jason to Ally because as much as he hates it, she has him well and truly hooked no matter how much he denies it. Its probably her acting as if she doesnt want Jason that makes him want her more....like he cant understand why she doesnt want him, after everything...you know?) Ryan (or other guys?) to AllySomething In Your Mouth - Nickelback"Crafty little lip tricks, tattoo on her left hip"(Ally has a tattoo on her left hip, this made me chuckle when I was listening to this song earlier! Ally is a sexual being...she hopes you all realise this) Ally in generalShakin' Hands - Nickelback"She'd done everyone once, and everyone knows you got to get a little dirty when you're digging for gold"(Gotta love my little skank, she's adorable. You just know all the boys are wanting to beat up Ryan for making Ally a faithful wee girly.) Ally in general, againS.E.X - Nickelback"Sex is always the answer, it's never a question,'Cause the answer's yes, oh the answer's yes!"(Just ask her ex conquests...this is her favourite past time. Ryan and her even argued over how much she wants it and her father even knows how much she loves it...even though he likes to tell himself she is innocent and pure and the horns are simply to hold the halo straight) I just found this, its a 'CD cover' for an Ally & Ryan mix...there we go...some songs that are very much them! The songs are: Back in Black - ACDC, All Over You - The Spill Canvas, Numb - Linkin Park, Possession - Sarah McLachlan, Animals - Nickelback (this is the 'makes me think of them sexing' song...overshare?!), Use Your Love - Katy Perry, Never Leave Your Heart Alone - Butterfly Boucher, 2 Out of 3 Aint Bad - Meatloaf, Where I Stood - Missy Higgins, Appreciation & The Bomb - The Spill Canvas, Spit at Stars - Jack Penate. I should point out...this was around the time they split up the first time...so yeah, that has to be taken into consideration! Cian & AshBurn It To The Ground - Nickelback"We got no class, no taste, no shirt, and shit faced" & "We got no fear, no doubt, all in balls out"(Theres a reason Cian has three children to two different girls....lol)

Since I've been obsessing over Doctor Who- inspiring Rose & the Doctor, or in this case Heather and David- I've found a few songs that remind me of Heather, or them, or what she thinks of them, or what they were. Maybe David feels the same way, I dunno Emma, hehe. The songs so far are, The First Days of My Life by Bright Eyes (which I think fits absolutely perfectly for some reason) and here is a happy little vid I found of them, Any Other World by Mika, You and Me by the Wannadies purely from this, You and Me by Lifehouse from here the first part reminds me a lot of how I picture Heather and her mannerisms, and All I Need by Matt Kearney.

Yep, I think David would agree with all those songs! My iTunes count proves that I absolutely adore First Day of My Life... such a gorgeous song. Quick thought I had for another song, I've seen it attributed to the Doctor and Rose before but I think it fits Heather and David quite well. Picture the scene, Ned's just introduced Heather to his friend David... The Best Thing- Relient K"It's been a year filled with problems/But now you're here, almost as if to solve them/And I can't live in a world without you now" & "Cuz when I looked into your eyes and you dared to stare right back/You should've said 'Nice to meet you, I'm your other half' "A bit soppy (?) yes hehe but good.

That song fits perfectly! And I think Heather might even say something like that, hehe. For some reason I also think Shine by Take That works for Heather & David too. Edit: Also I think 'Set The First to the Third Bar' by Snow Patrol depicts Heather and David somehow... yes I am apparently on a Doctor Who kick, I'll try to stop now, hehe.

Seeing as I seem to be on a role with writing for Gwen it only seems appropriate to explore songs that would represent her or her relationship with Samuel Michalka. For me, Stand in the Rain- by Superchick, especially the lyrics:
She never slows down. She doesn't know why but she knows that when she's all alone, feels like its all coming down. She won't turn around. The shadows are long and she fears if she cries that first tear, the tears will not stop raining down.
And
Stand in the rain. Stand your ground. Stand up when it's all crashing down. You stand through the pain. You won't drown. And one day, whats lost can be found. You stand in the rain.
Are very accurate of her personality, Gwen is stubborn and never gives up on anyone or anything, quite, or, to give up, are not words or phrases in her vocabulary. And the part about crying and shadows represents her lying to Samuel and then when they break up.
As far as when they are apparte I think ‘You Could Be Happy,’- by Snow Patrol could accurately describe how she feels, perhaps even how Samuel feels? The part where he sings: "Most of what I remember makes me sure, I should've stopped you from walking out that door." If this were a film I would imagine this song playing while it passes between what both Gwen and Samuel are doing when separated from one another, what they’re feeling, how they’re coping… ext. Also I don’t know if this is a correct assumption at all Emma but when I heard ‘Someday’- by John Legend it reminded me of how Samuel might feel. It would make more sense if I could find this cute little cartoon film I found on YouTube somewhere.

I think all your song choices for characters fit perfectly, especially 'Set the Fire to the Third Bar'... I love that song and Snow Patrol in general actually. Yes I am the stereotypical teenage girl loving Snow Patrol's love songs, haha. This may just be me, hehe but I see a Heather/David song in Thinking of You by Katy Perry. Comparisons are easily done once you've had a taste of perfection He kissed my lips, I taste your mouth/He pulled me in, I was disgusted with myself You're the best and yes I do regret/How I could let myself let you go/Now the lesson's learned, I touched it I was burned/Oh I think you should know/Cause when I'm with him I am thinking of youI guess it would be from Heather's point of view- even though she's tried to move on she still sees bits of him in boyfriends and stuff? hehe or would that be too arrogant to assume she'd always think of David? If you reverse the genders in the song, it definitely applies to what David feels about her.

I was just listening to "For You" by The Outfield and these lyrics: "I was wrong - my mistake I regret - look at the price I paid Take these words - understand Try forgiving - I'm a broken man"just screamed Daddy B to Mama B to me. Because even though he acts like he's alright and on top of the world, he really is haunted by his decision to leave the love of his life. He's never loved anyone since, and he's always held this wee hope that she'd forgive him and take him back. Aaaw Daddy B

I am not sure what you think Emma but I was listening to these two songs and they seemed like they could do for the relationship between Becki & Leo. 'I wish for something more' by Amy Macdonald, and 'You've got the love,' by Florence & the Machine (especially that one). Oh and Emma Katy Perry's song definitely applies to Heather and David, on her end of things especially. Edit: I thought of a few other songs, 'She's So Lovely' by Scouting for Girls, and 'She's Got You High' by Mumm-Ra... maybe both for Harry, but if the roles were reversed they could work perfectly for Becki as well.

Let's Be Friends by Emily Osment practically created Lola. It is Lola and Caleb.
Obviously the song Whatever Lola Wants is also a great song for Lola.
