Picking up the large pile of scales, Jon placed them to the side and checked his watch to see what time it was and was surprised to see it was time for his shift to end, his day had flown by, who'd have known descaling a dragon's hindquarters was so time consuming.
Placing the scales into a bag, he stored them away into the room that the goblins had grudgingly given him as an 'office' and after washing his hands, he sprayed himself with some deodrant and made his way back up to the main entrance hall of the wizarding bank where he was due to meet his 'date' for this evening.
"I'll see you tomorrow Trav, are you in early? I am so I'll start and you can catch up ok?" he waved goodbye to his coworker before making his way over to the main doors, resting himself against the wall with his arms crossed as he waited for Abie.

Abie's work day seemed to drag on for hours, as she'd been given the task of organizing a filing cabinet with old broken codes. She figured there was a least 10 years worth of codes, and wondered why the parchments were so messy to begin with, she liked her workspace neat and tidy at all times. Glancing at her watch she muttered a curse word as it was nearly quitting time and she hadn't even finished the filing cabinet. Setting down the pile of parchment on the desk, Abie stood up and stretched.
She stood up, crossed the room, then clicked the light switch of the storage room, walking down the hall to the main office. "I'll be back in tomorrow to finish the filing, Tobias, it's a mess..." Abie picked up her bag and made her way to the toilets, changing out of her suit and into a flowy summery dress, sandals and freshened up. She had a date tonight with a certain dragon tamer. Smiling to herself, Abie left the department inside the bank and made her way to lobby.
The bank was nearly empty with the exception of employees and a few last minute customers. Spying Jon by the wall, Abie sauntered over to him, giving him a good once over as she did so. "Well, does Abie clean up good or what, darling?" she chuckled, twirling around where she stood so that Jon could get a good look at what he'd be spending the evening with. Abie slipped her arm easily into his and steered him towards the entrance,"Shall we go then?"

Looking across the emptying lobby, Jon noticed Abie walking towards him and he gave her a smile, standing up off the wall he uncrossed his arms and looked her up and down before nodding his head at her. "You....well, you'll do I guess.." he trailed off before laughing, "Im kidding, you look amazing...Im beginning to wish Id made more of an effort" he looked down at himself, he was tidy in his jeans and shirt but he wasnt overly dressed.
Feeling himself being steered towards the exit, he gave a chuckle "It seems you're ready so yes, lets go...where do you want to go? On me of course" he smiled down at her, opening the wide door and stepping back so she could exit before him.

"I'll do? Abie doesn't do, darling, she IS. Effort?" Abie looked Jon over again carefully with a well trained eye for fashion. He was clean, he smelt incredible and there wasn't a speck of dust on his clothing. "Abie approves. Mine is straight up there with the Queen..and God..." she chuckled, giving Jon a sexy little wink because she thought he looked hot. No one would know he'd been wrestling with a dirty old dragon all day at work.
They walked out into Diagon Alley and Abie shrugged her slim shoulders. "Doesn't matter where darling and Abie insists that you pay. That's the only way she'll go on dates.." she chuckled, strolling with him to the passageway of the Leaky Cauldron that would lead them out into London. "Do you like Indian food? Chinese? Or would you prefer a pasta dinner?" she asked, wondering how worldly Jon was, hoping he had more class than his horrid brother, who had the manners of a gorilla.

"As in 'She is very sure of herself'?" he teased her with a wink of his eye, before shaking his head "What would you say if I told you that I didnt agree with the Monarchy ruling our country and that I didnt believe in God? That just means your apporval is worth....well...nothing" he did a fake shocked look before laughing softly, giving her arm a little squeeze with his.
"I believe I asked you what you wanted! I will eat anything, I am a man of many tastes...theres a nice Thai restaurant just up the road a bit...or there's an old greasy spoon over there" he hitched his thumb towards a very grotty looking cafe, thinking himself very funny for teasing Abie because she didnt look the type of girl who'd ever be seen dead in a greasy spoon, let alone eat in one.

"Abie would say you're an effin idiot, is what she'd say! Abie's approval means everything, darling, don't think a wee sec that it don't.." she winked at Jon, figuring the remark about the monarchy was true but wasn't sure about the God one, she wondered if that was true. Despite her gossipy reputation, Abie was a faithful church goer, attending services with her father every Sunday during the summer holidays and now that she was done school. She just had never told anyone this.
Abie and Jon passed through the Leaky Cauldron and into the streets of London where they walked for a bit before ending at the sidewalk. She looked both ways and wanting to shock this man into oblivion, Abie made up her mind. "Greasy spoon..." she said to him, deadly serious, and chuckling softly at his reaction. Abie unslipped her arm to open her bag, digging out her gloss and applying it to her lips slowly. "What? You think Abie wouldn't eat there? Try me, darling.." she mused and pressed her lips together all the while gazing at Jon's handsome face. Abie put away the tube of gloss and threaded her arm through his again.
"Shall we go? Or would you rather Thai?" she chuckled at him again, giving him a mischievous wink.

"Oh well, if Abie says...Im guessing it must be true? Its cute how you think that" he laughed softly, before raising his eyebrows as she said she wanted to eat at the dingy cafe, he was sure she was just trying to shock him but he didnt really believe it for a second, he'd heard a lot about this girl.
"Fine...I work with dragons so we both know I dont mind grotty stuff. Come on then, what'll it be? I heard they do a cracking all day breakfast...all fried of course" he nodded his head, walking towards the cafe before stopping outside of it, "Its a bit grubby for a first date really...but what Abie wants...Abie will get for one night only" he smiled at her and pushed the door open, wrinkling his nose slightly at the strong smell of damp, sweat and cigarettes that hit him in a large wave.
"After you..." he bowed slightly, wondering if she'd admit she didnt want to eat here. He certainly didnt as he saw the cook wiping his nose on his hand before using the very same hands to pick up bacon and sausages, which looked about 10 years out of date.

Abie threw Jon a flirty look, tossing her long blonde hair over her shoulder as they walked. "Everything Abie says is true, darling, she's not a liar, what's the point? Lies only get ya trouble on top of trouble..seems like a waste to me.." she mused, walking with him to the grubby looking diner. They reached the door and she waited until Jon opened it for her and she stepped in.
Abie took in the diner with a bored look, not wanting to tell him she'd been here many times before after a night of clubbing, she was enjoying his uneasiness far too much. "Abie only gets what she wants for one night only? Seems rather unfair and besides.." Abie strolled into the diner and sat down at her usual booth,"...I always get what I want, darling.." she winked at him and set her bag down. She leaned her elbows on the table, resting her hands on her chin, smirking at him. "If yer that uncomfy darling, we can leave? I just figured you wrestling big dirty dragons all day..this place would be a picnic for ya..." she chuckled, tucking hair behind her ear.

"Do you always do that? Refer to yourself in the 3rd person? Cian does it a lot as well...but he uses that pathetic nickname that Im sure he gave himself." Jon gave a soft laugh before smiling at her, "You always get what you want? Really? Well you know...theres a first time for everything..." he raised an eyebrow at her, giving her a smirky look before looking at the seat she wanted him to sit in with a look of poorly hidden disgust.
"I tend to pick somewhere a bit classier for my eating habits, having worked with Dragon's all day every day I like to take a break from slumming it. But if you'd rather here than Thai...then you get what you want today but I will say...Im going to go for prepackaged rather than anything he's touched" Jon nodded over to the Cook, who was now coughing loudly into his hand.

Abie shrugged, she had been doing it so long that it was just second nature to her. "Yea. And? Gots a problem with that darling? Does it bother you that Abie speaks about this way?" she gave him a slow sexy smirk, her eyes looking right into his, they were the same shade of blue as his brother's but warmer, Jon's didn't carry the same look of arrogance that Ash's did. "Pathetic? Loads of girls go crazy for it...he thinks he's pretty clever for thinking it up. It's probably the most clever thing that boy has ever thought up.." she chuckled with only a hint of evil in it, Abie thought Cian was hot but he didn't have the intelligence that she craved in a man.
Abie looked around the diner, it wasn't first date material at all but she'd wanted to prove to Jon that she wasn't some snobby girl with only expensive taste. She turned her head slightly when the chef hacked and snorted into his hand and she had to hold in a giggle, her hand covering her mouth. When she was composed, Abie threw another smirk at Jonathan, he was rather unhappy with the choice. "Well if you'd rather prefer the Thai...I suppose we could go.." she said in a long drawn out way, as if it was such a burden to leave. But she stood up and offered her hand to him. "Lead the way darling, maybe next time Old Cough and Snot can make us a burger..." Abie laughed, her beautiful laugh filling the diner like music.
Walking to the doorway with Jonathan right behind her, Abie stepped out onto the sidewalk, slipping her hand into the crook of his arm. "Alright then...lead the way to this delightful Thai place you so desperately wish me to be at.."

Holding his hands up in defence, Jon shook his head slowly and gave Abie a sexy look as he bit his bottom lip slowly, "No prpblem with it here, I was just curious is all...does it bother you that I refer to myself as 'I', 'me' etc?" he chuckled before snorting, rubbing his hand over his chin as he looked at Abie with a look of interest, "He's really as popular as he says he is? I always assumed he was this complete try hard and that he paid Ashton to lie and say he was a complete manwhore to make himself look better...he's really a complete slag then?" he asked before laughing, he'd heard many stories about Cian but as he had said, he hadnt believed them all because well, Cian wasnt the sharpest tack in the box, surely there couldnt be that many girls who didnt mind he was thick as pig shit.
Standing up as soon as she said they could go elsewhere, Jon didnt waste anytime because whilst he wasnt a snob, the thought of eating anything that Hacky McSnotball had touched completely turned his stomach. "I'd prefer Thai" he stated simply with a nod of his head, pushing the door open for Abie before stepping out onto the street behind her, smiling as her hand met his arm, he turned towards her and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her close to him before turning on the spot, apparating them right outside of the Thai restaurant that he adored, pushing open the door her let her enter first before walking in behind her, the waiter greeting him like an old friend and leading him to his usual seat, tucked away from everyone else.
"Now this, this is much better...and you cant see if the chef is a hacking snotball, perfect" he smiled at her with a chuckle, pulling her chair out for her before sitting himself down, thanking the waiter who had already brought them over a bottle of wine, "Is this ok for you? Or would you rather somewhere else?" he asked Abie, he wanted her to be happy and would go wherever she wanted.

(we should rename this...a post! finally!)
Abie raised her eyebrows at Jonathan, sure he was crazy for thinking Cian was making his popularity up. "Are ya kiddin me? Yes, he's THAT popular. What? Ya thought he was shittin ya? Nah, McHotty got himself around..and around..and around.." Abie chuckled, Cian was a whore and she was surprised Jonathan hadn't believed it. His brother was Ashton, Cian's best friend and that guy was a whore too. "Paid? With what? Sex? Probably." she chuckled again, giving her date a sexy wink. "Complete and total. Dunno what Franca was thinking when she got with that...or Erin. Unless that whole heap of trouble counts. Mind, Franca knew he was a whore, as if Ash wouldn't have told her...Erin on the other hand...acts like she has more brains than she does..." Abie mused, she loved to gossip and didn't care how nasty she sounded, she merely spoke the truth.
Abie stood next to Jonathan and was very pleased when he wrapped his arms around her and held her close as they apparated to the restaurant. Sneakily inhaling his scent before she moved away from him, Abie was pleased at his choice, it was very manly and suited him. She followed him through the restaurant to a very private looking table and she sat down. "Oh so he might be? We'll just not be able to see it?" Abie smirked, sure that the chef of that particular restaurant wouldn't do that at all. "It's fine yea...a bit stuffy though?" she winked, just so that he would know she was joking, Abie had been brought up going to upscale restaurants, her father never took her to anything below that.
Taking a sip from the glass of wine he had poured her, Abie gave him a slow sexy smile. "Is this the usual bring a date place? The maitre'd knew you, it was obvious."

Shrugging his shoulders, Jon gave a low deep laugh and looked over at Abie with a cute look, "Well I know guys...they brag about how much they're getting. Its the rule of three...the number of girls a guy says he's slept with...you divide it by 3 and that's the real number. Apparently the rule is a little different for girls, whatever number they tell you you multiply by 3 and that's the real number, apparently they don't like to be seen as promiscuous?" he laughed again, sitting back in his seat as he looked at her, wondering what her number was but not asking her, he was too much of a gentleman.
"He isnt the smartest guy around though is he, I suppose the girls obviously arent after him for his smarts. Man, it sucks that all my years of taunting him I was in the wrong. Doesnt matter, I'll still do it..I know he likes routine in his life" Jon nodded his head before smirking as she mentioned the girls who had gotten pregnant with Cian, both girls Jon was close to and he shook his head with a smile, "Im pretty sure Erin would've known exactly what Cian was like, he's been coming to family parties for as long as he's been friends with Ashton. Franca...well that surprised me that one, I really didnt expect someone like her to like someone like Cian." Jon shook his head, not meaning to sound like he was talking badly of Cian but the boy came from a very different lifestyle to the one that Franca was used to.
"Exactly, out of sight means out of mind" he laughed, taking a drink from his glass he gave an amused smile, "Stuffy and overpriced, I agree" he winked back at her, joking along with her before looking over to where the maitre'd stood, "Never been here before in my life, I used to date him...." Jon trailed off as if he was deep in thought before laughing heartily, "Im kidding, I've been here a few times. I like the food" he looked back to her, not going in to who he was here with previously.

Abie raised her eyebrow at Jon's suggestion on how sex partners were calculated, as if anything he said made sense. "Nah...you multiply Cian's partners by 5...dunno how he hasn't caught something...some of the ass he's had...walking sess pools.." Abie made a face after she'd said this, she'd seen some of the girls Cian had slept with, she couldn't believe that a girl like Franca would have fallen for him. Abie thought she could do better. She took a drink of her wine and glanced up at Jon, giving him a slightly amused look. "You wanna know my number, love?"
"Not from what Abie heard...his appeal is down south, not north..if ya get me.." she rolled her eyes, Abie couldn't argue that Cian wasn't gorgeous, he was but he didn't have the brains that she wanted in a guy. "Would she? Ya really think she didn't expect Mr. Can't Keep It In His Pants to be with her for the sake of those babies? Whateva! Erin thought he was gonna be with her instead of Franca. Dunno why she thought that, she was never nice to that lad.." Abie didn't really care if Erin was Jon's cousin or not, she had an opinion on everything and was going to give it. "I thought Franca would end up with some snotty rich guy...seems more her type, yea?"
Abie picked up her menu and started to look through it, everything sounded delicious. "Never been here before? Him? Nah, he ain't yer type....doesn't have the legs..." she looked up from her menu, her eyes giving Jon a sultry look. "The food..the privacy....so what's good love?" Abie asked, not sure what to choose.

"By 5? Seriously? Man..." Jon couldnt help but sound impressed, before laughing and shrugging his shoulders, "Who's to say he hasnt caught something? Maybe he's not as stupid as he looks...I mean he only has 2 baby mamas after all" he nodded his head, he did like Cian even if it sounded like he was dissing his brothers best friend.
Taking a drink of wine and smiling to himself as Abie asked him if he wanted to know her number, he gave a shrug of his shoulders, "I cant ask you that...not yet" he winked at her and chuckled, he really wanted to know and figured he'd ask Ash & Cian if they knew any gossip on Abie or if they could get him some, he liked to know what he was getting himself into.
"I dont know, Erin is really independent...Im surprised she even went with Cian of all people. They always argue when they're at parties...but its usually because he's saying she wants him and she's denying it. The real arguments are usually Ash & Erin...those are party killers!" Jon nodded his head, "I always thought she'd be with someone more...like her. I thought maybe even the guy Ash doesnt like, that kid...his mum was a Reynolds, werent they like really serious? I remember hearing her talking about him before" Jon shrugged, unaware that the boy he spoke of was Abie's ex.
Looking at Abie, mirroring her sultry look Jon gave a slow smile before shaking his head "You never know what he's hiding under those trousers." he teased her before looking to the menu, "My favourites are probably the Tamarind Duck or the Pla Nueng. Depends what you like really, are you a vegetarian or that?" he asked her, she looked like the type to really watch what she ate and he was unsure of what she liked but he hoped to find out.
(ooc. sorry...its a bit lame)
