Lacey gently took Spencer's hand in hers and held up each of the nail polishes in turn, making quiet 'hmmm' noises every so often. She was constantly painting her nails and owned about a million bottles of polish, mostly because it was a great way to appear mildly disinterested in whatever was going on around her. "I'm going to give you an ombré pattern with this pink and violet," she announced, not even waiting for an answer before grabbing the two colors, a top coat and a sponge to complete the technique.
She looked up as Peyton suggested Truth or Dare, her stomach dropping suddenly with anxiety at the thought of what she might be asked to say or do. No one could know this, of course. "Fine," she said finally, rolling her eyes and acting like she didn't care either way. "But if I have to snog anyone, you're eating a mint first," Lacey warned, alluding to that fated Spin the Bottle game that she must have been wasted to have agreed to.

"The half-Indian hipster version of Dan, yeah. I'm sure you'd know him if you saw him," Adam explained, though to be fair, he was the sort of person who acquired new friends the way most people picked up lint on their jumpers. "Alejandroooo!" Adam repeated in the voice of an overly-dramatic soap opera actor cursing his foe, shaking his fist at the sky. "Now, how difficult is it going to be to avoid singing the Lady Gaga song?"
He then stretched his arms out and embraced Ella in a giant bear hug, practically lifting her clean off the floor. Finally releasing her, he turned toward the counter and picked up his tray of snacks. "No one on the planet has ever cooked anything better than my mum, and that is a completely unbiased fact," he said facetiously, though a very large part of him believed it. If his mum ever abandoned English teaching for the street food game, with her amazing cooking, fun personality and warm motherly energy, any other vendor would be done for.
"So, do you...?" he asked with his eyebrows raised as he heard the promise of Truth or Dare from the other room. "Give me a Daaaare!" he bellowed as he walked through the doorway and deposited the snacks in the middle of the room. "Or. Wait. How does this game work?"
